Fantastic location in the heart of Miyakojima!
For my first time on Miyakojima, this hotel was an amazing find. It exceeded my expectations and had so many plus points! Check in was simple and staff were so friendly. The coded lock made me feel safe as a solo traveller. Double bed was really comfy, I slept like a rock! Loved the view from 8F every morning, one morning even had a rainbow! Walls were nicely sound proofed (Sometimes a big issue with Japanese hotels especially) Drying rack was a great addition to dry towels etc Wi-fi worked great. I prefered the eco option of room not being changed each day, thanks for the free water with fresh towels! Family Mart across the road, great for grabbing snacks for beach travels each day (And Blue Seal ice cream in the evening). All local izakaya were delicious, value for money and great entertainment! While waiting for shuttle bus back to the airport, hotel offered me free guava juice, thanks! Overal amazing service and would definitely stay again, 本当にありがとうございました！また来ます！
Free shuttle service pick up from airport was a bit confusing via Booking.com messaging, I honestly think it was the website not the hotel. Staff were very polite and apologized, all okay! If you make the same mistake, a bus is 20mins from airport and only 300yen. Remember to book arrival pick up time BEFORE arrival and book the day before heading back.
